The Merlion
The Merlion is Singapore's symbol. It is a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. Mer = sea and "lion".
The Merlion in the picture is one of the 5 merlions recognized by Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
It is located at the Merlion Park.
BTW...
Forgive me if the quality of the photos is not that good enough. I took this during my first visit in Singapore last 2008. I don't have a DSLR that time yet :(

Jurong Bird Park
I have been to Singapore twice but i never had the chance to go the Jurong Bird Park. My good friend Kimi, who went to Singapore couple of months ago was able to capture pictures of some of the animals there.
I asked her permission to post the pics she took here on my blog. I hope i can go back to sg this year. I cant wait to photograph these lovely birds!

A big "Thank you"
Now that I am self employed, I am looking for ways how to make money online. And I realized that i can improve this blog of mine so that it will generate income too. I navigated over my dashboard, and i was bale to find out that most of my traffic, is coming from a blog: http://myjavarosa.blogspot.com/

Visiting my blog after almost a year
Hello there this is my first time blogging after almost a year from the last time i posted something. I am so sorry i wasnt able to update this blog. Anyway, I just found something new today. I ran a page rank tester and i found out that this blog is ranked 1/10 :( well, atleast this is listed. What do these numbers mean?
Ranks and what they mean in simple terms:
0] You're not even listed on Google PageRank list.
1] Very poor, but hey - at least you are listed.
2] Poor, but you have potential to move up and it can be done.
3] Average. You have good information and most websites fall in this ball park.
4] Above average. You're sprinting away from the majority.
5] Good. Page Rank 5 will usually pop up on the first page of some searches.
6] Great. You've worked hard and have great information.
7] You're hot and you're one of the top sites. Your peer is Zillow.
8] You’re super hot, and your peers are CNBC, EBay, Bing, American Idol.
9] Everyone wants you, you are like: Youtube, Yahoo, Facebook, Apple, Amazon.
10] Finally, the 10s: Google, CNN, usa.gov, and social bookmarking website AddThis.
